Salem Kongunaadu Arts and Science College is founded in the year 2007 and is managed by KONGUNAADU EDUCATIONAL TRUST, a trust created with a vision and mission of providing education to the students in and around Salem. The members of the Trust are well educated and are in the helm of public status.
It is located in the "Heart of the City Salem" and is situated near Radisson Hotel, Bangalore Main Road, Mamangam, Salem. A well unpolluted serene atmosphere for the students to study their desired subject. The College is affiliated to Periyar University. Apart from the University Curriculum we update general knowledge, soft skills programme, personality development, extra disciplinary courses, English language training programme to the students. For enhancement of the knowledge in getting placement we provide placement programme for the final year students.
The College is strategically placed and adequately equipped to provide access to the first generation learners, the urban class with modern learning approach and empower them in their interested fields. Our College has well equipped classrooms, labs, library etc. For effective and better connect with the subjects we take the classes through the LCD projectors with the help of power point presentation. To facilitate and to provide education at affordable cost. We provide Free College Bus facility to the students in and around the Salem city.

Chairman Message
CA.S.NATARAJAN, Chairman of the Salem Kongunaadu Educational Institutions, he is trustee of the institution since 2014 and taken charge of Chairman in 2022. He is holding the post of Treasurer in PAASAM, an Association formed for the Private colleges under the affiliation of Periar University, Salem. He is a science graduate in Zoology and completed Chartered Accountancy in 1986. Being an accounting professional, interested in providing quality education in latest courses and train the students with soft skill and to equip them with employability skills.
Being chartered accountant having social responsibility, held the post of Chairman of CA students’ association (SICASA), Salem Branch of Institute of Chartered accountants of India for 5 years during 1991-95 and was in Executing Committee for three years and was chairman of Salem Branch of Institute of Chartered accountants of India during 2009-10.
He was instrumental in creating the Trust, among the promotors and a trustee of this Educational Trust. He believes in quality education and a believer in training, equipping and molding the students to face the ever-changing future. He believes that better language will lead to better understanding of subjects.

Secretary Message
Mr.R.THANGAVEL, Secretary of the Salem Kongunaadu Educational Institutions a graduate in commerce is a B.Com graduate and a renowned businessman. He is one of the founder Trustee in the Kongunaadu Educational Trust, Salem and was in managing committee earlier for about 5 years as secretary, a good administrator, organizer and executor.
He is interested in promoting rural education and believes that knowledge is power and in a continuous thirst in giving education to rural students.

Mrs.Dr.SELVAM GANAPATHI, Treasurer is a multi-degreed graduate with Doctorate and with 8 years of experience as principal of various colleges. She was a member of NCTE since 2016
She is a Hindi pandit and Sanskrit Scholar. She has published text books to B.Ed and M.Ed students and published various educational article in national and international levels.
Since she started her carrier as school teacher her experience with students and management is instrumental to the management of students and their curriculum. She takes care of students’ development and safety.
